Celebrated actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has stressed the need to empower women to reduce poverty on the continent.

She spoke recently on ‘Strong Girl’, a song she produced with eight African other artistes.

The artistes are Victoria Kimani (Kenya), Vanessa Mdee (Tanzania), Ariele T (Gabon), Gabriela (Mozambique), Selmor Mtukudzi (Zimbabwe) ,YemiAlade (Nigeria) and Blessing (South Africa).

President Jonathan Presents Handover Note To Buhari

The President has presented his handover notes to the President-elect.

Both men, Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari are perhaps meeting for the last time before the handover.

The presentation was done inside the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja shortly after President Jonathan conducted Buhari round the Presidential Villa.

Benitez has emerged as the frontrunner to replace Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid and the 55-year-old stated he will end his two-year Napoli stay at a news conference on Thursday.
