Paris Saint-Germain defender David Luiz has played down concerns that a tendon problem could hamper his progress at the French champions.
Luiz, 27, injured his right knee playing in Brazil's friendly against Colombia last month and the area was still strapped up during PSG's 3-2 win over Barcelona on Tuesday.
The 50 million euro summer signing from Chelsea has had to share more of the workload in the absence of injured compatriot Thiago Silva.
He is the only one of PSG's outfield players who has played every minute of the club's last five matches.
Le Parisien reports that sources close to Luiz believe he requires rest to fully recover from the knee problem. But the player himself told the paper that he was not overly concerned.
"When you play at a high level for years, it's normal to play with pain," said Luiz. "It's part of daily life for a lot of players.
In my case, I'm doing everything I can to shrug off the pain in my knee.
"In a few days or in a few months it'll be better, and I'll finally be at 100 percent physically."
After scoring his first goal for PSG in their Champions League victory over Barcelona, the former Benfica player added that he was in no mood to take a break:
"I've got the best job in the world and I want to play every match that God gives me."
