Coach Samson Siasia has called up Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi and Dundee United striker Ola Adeyemo to the Nigeria U-23 team camp for next month’s All Africa Games qualifier.
Iwobi, 18, born in England to Nigerian parent and nephew to Austin ‘jay jay’ Okocha, has represented England at U-16 and U-18 levels.
He has figured for Arsenal U-21 team on a regular basis this season as well as captaining the side’s Uefa Youth League team. He was named in the substitute bench for the first team’s trip to Istanbul last month.
