Portugal are considering selecting Cristiano Ronaldo for the 2016 Olympics. The Real Madrid superstar's possible participation would see him included as one of the three over-23 players by the Portugal Football Association (FPF).This not new because Messi has done same , in 2008 , where he won a gold medal after Argentina beat Nigeria 1-0 .
When asked about Ronaldo being involved in the Olympics,FPF president Fernando Gomes said.
"It's a possibility. We can take three players aged over 23. Ronaldo is one of our current options but we have not thought too much about it yet ," he told Globo Esporte.
