Just when you think Olamide has over-used his Yoruba lines and video ideas, he blows us away with this new one which will blow your mind.
The YBNL rapper/hit maker, Olamide A.K.A "Badoo" has released the video to his smash hit, "Awon Goons Mi". The track itself is a 3-minute delivery of amazing Yoruba rap by the prolific wordsmith. The video, which is directed by Unlimited L.A, features appearances from a host of popular faces in the Nigerian music industry, ranging from Mo' cheddah to Phyno Do2tun to Phenom, Efa, Cynthia Morgan, Samklef, Alex, Reminisce, Pheelz, Viktoh, Lil Kesh, CDQ, Ketchup, YQ, DJ Enimoney to T-Black. The video portrayed these mentioned artistes in a slow-motioned, low-lighted video, showing their faces, all dressed in black, repping as Badoo's goons. Apparently the goons Olamide is referring to means 'colleagues', 'gang', teammates' , pals etc and not the dictionary meaning of a goon.
